For Sale: 1974 VW Beetle 1300 - fully restored and road ready! Meet Benny, a remarkable 1974 Volkswagen Beetle 1300, looking fantastic in his original colour. He's had extensive restoration, making him completely rust-free, watertight and mechanically sound. All welding is done, paint expertly reapplied and floorpans are solid. He even boasts automatic ignition for reliable starts, no more points issues. Benny's been lovingly kept in a dry garage. Inside, you'll find comfortable sport leather seats. The two side windows need attention (mechanisms need looking at/replacing – triangle windows open fine). The glovebox knob needs fixing and a new owner might consider updating carpets or putting original-style seats back in (original back and passenger seats are available). Benny's eager for new adventures. We've enjoyed him, but he deserves more road time. He's tax and MoT exempt and very cheap to insure, an accessible entry into the classic car world. He's a true character who turns heads and brings smiles.
