First produced in 2002, the Bonneville America is a British-built, retro US-style laid back cruiser It differs greatly from the standard Bonneville with a longer wheelbase, lower seat, and classic cruiser styling with a teardrop tank , tank-mounted console, wire-spoke wheels, and twin slash-cut exhausts The design pays homage to Triumphs modified in America during the 1960s and 1970s, giving it 'street cred' rather than being seen as a 'Harley clone' Powered by a refined 790cc, DOHC parallel-twin fed by twin Keihin carburettors and offering 62bhp and 44ft.lb of torque at 3500rpm This, first year of production example, is in original unrestored condition and confirmed running with a current MOT The bike has covered just 22,761 miles from new Supplied with a current V5C, owner's handbook and service book, and both keys along with some service and MOT history Supplied with Triumph throw-over leather panniers, a Triumph screen and a solo seat
