The Mini Monte Carlo is a rare and cherished model among car enthusiasts. In the UK, there are currently 36 licensed and 109 SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) Mini Monte Carlo cars1. This means there are 145 known Mini Monte Carlo cars in the UK, but the global number is harder to pinpoint due to varying registration and reporting practices in different countries. A superb example of the limited-edition British icon, presented in impeccably original condition throughout. Under the bonnet is a fuel-injected 1,275cc A-series inline-four engine, producing around 63bhp coupled to a four-speed manual gearbox. First registered in September 1994, this Mini Cooper Monte Carlo is a special-edition car, built as a tribute to Paddy Hopkirk’s Monte Carlo victory thirty years prior. In total, only 200 Mini Cooper Monte Carlos were built, all painted in either red or black. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This special-edition Mini Cooper Monte Carlo is finished in the distinctive hue of Flame Red with a white roof. The Flame Red paintwork presents exceptionally well Inside, the red and cream upholstery is in superb condition, with the only sign of use being some slight discolouration on the top of the red leather-trimmed gear knob. No electrical or mechanical issues have been detected.
